Pugilistic Duality is currently a static, pre-production browser prototype. It does not provide player accounts, online matchmaking, subscriptions, or payments today. The section below describes the payment model planned for the paid app-store release, which has not launched yet.
The prototype stores sound, motion, and CPU-difficulty preferences in your browser's local storage. These preferences remain on your device unless you clear them. The game does not transmit them to a Pugilistic Duality account or database.
The site host may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security events to deliver and protect the website. Any such processing is governed by the hosting provider's applicable terms and privacy documentation.
The site may request font files from Google Fonts. That request may disclose ordinary connection information to Google. No advertising trackers or behavioral analytics are intentionally included in the current prototype.
Pugilistic Duality is planned to be sold as a one-time paid app purchase through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, not as an in-app or subscription purchase. This means Apple and Google process your payment directly as part of their own checkout — Pugilistic Duality never receives, stores, transmits, or has access to your card number, billing address, or other payment details. What each store collects to process a purchase is governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies, not this one.
The native app itself does not require creating a Pugilistic Duality account, and does not collect gameplay data beyond the same on-device preferences described above. If that changes before or after release, this notice will be updated first.
Accounts, rankings, and online matchmaking are not currently available in either the browser prototype or the planned paid release. This notice will be updated before any such system begins collecting information, disclosing what it collects, why it is needed, how long it is retained, and how users can exercise applicable privacy rights.
The prototype is not directed to children. Its planned violence and gore may be inappropriate for younger audiences.
You can remove locally stored preferences by clearing site data in your browser. You may also block third-party font requests using browser privacy controls or content-blocking tools.
